Welcome! I am Zsolt Zathureczky, grappling instructor. I have been working with martial arts for 13 years, and it has always been in my life. I beleive: a sound mind in a healthy body. I founded a club 5 years ago, where we deal with mixed martial arts and ground fighting (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu), it's name is the Carlson Gracie team D-8, which we proudly wear after our Brazilian founding master. Our ranks include children, juniors, adults, and seniors in their 40s and 50s.
 
After a long time, our activity has matured to move into a "home" of its own to provide a permanent place for the students. Sport and the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a style of living for us. We have both amateurs and athletes who already achieved excellent results. We form a strong team, regardless of age, gender or profession. We have a wide range of pupils from firefighters to engineers, but we share a common interest: the potential of development and the love of movement, also the protection of the environment.

I have a rural background, so I often found illegal garbage dumps on the edge of the woods or on the canal before. It was extremely disturbing but apart from informing the authorities I couldn't do much more, I had no capacity to fight alone. The waste was either left there or not.

I think it's important to keep our environment clean and safe. I beleive, that through small actions, we can get to the real environment protection and my students agree with this view as well!
